the elegant math
of the fibonacci thistle.
the generosity of one,
then one again, just
before the spiral of seeds
multiplies concentrically.
come summer, they’ll be
thick like tangleweed.
so it is with uprising:
blink and blink again
find yourself rooted
in the field of the many.
