to see a sign and say sign
to see all this blue sky in one place
and try to find a place for it
in our deep deep pockets
what will we do when this blue
is just something we read about
call it clean water blue
call it mythology
put a light on while it’s light out
now it’s white out
now we’re outright and out straight
and right on and ongoing
and what is going on
is what’s undoing us
is what we’ll call our undoing
