blessed be
the brightness
of begin-again blue.
blessed be
the way you find yourself
blinking in the backyard,
astonished out of hiding,
wholly unready,
but willing,
to heal.

thanks for a full moon in France. a garden blooming. brushes flooded with paint. my swollen heart.
all we know is not enough,
